Contextual (cultural) element and Cognitive (thinking) processes

The Contextual (cultural) element are:

-Knowledge about food in English speaking countries.
-Healthy eating habits around the globe.

And the Cognitive (thinking) processes are:

-Knowing the vocabulary of the unit and basic grammatical structures.
-Describing the life cycle of a Caterpillar.
-Identifying vocabulary related to the caterpillar and food.
-Understanding the global sense of a story.
-Distinguishing between healthy and non healthy eating habits.
-Associating images and words.
-Applying specific strategies to internalize the vocabulary within the unit.
-Solving memory games.
-Completing crosswords and puzzles.
-Analyzing information in the Internet.
-Ordering sequences in a story.
-Explaining meanings.
-Assessing their own work.
-Predicting information while watching a documentary.
-Justifying answers while been asked.
-Creating visual patterns following a model.
-Developing communicative skills while role-play.
